Naam RPG: A Fairy Tale Business Ik wil deze RPG in het Nederlands/Engels doen: open voor discussie.
Waar gaat je RPG over: ,,Have a happily ever after.’’ That’s what is been said by those who find themselves employed in the Fairy Tale Business. You would think that fairy tales and business have nothing to do with each other, wouldn’t you? Well, think twice. In fact, one couldn’t quite exist without the other. Every prince has to be tipped of the glass slipper on the stairs. Every strayed hunter should be informed that poor Little Red Riding Hood has been eaten by the wolf. And every frog needs to be identified as being a true prince. These are all fundamental problems that have to be solved urgently – urgently, because we all know what happened to the girl with the Matchsticks. Just saying. Now, fairy tale-figures everywhere are willing to pay a price for their happily ever after. And certain individuals thought they could make a good profit out of that. Hence, the Fairy Tale Business came into existence. Company managers of companies small and big have sent out their employees on quests to safe a Royal wedding or to defeat an evil witch – or a bunch of witches, since they pop up like weeds. Employees travel long distances – often in parties – to establish that so much wished for happily ever after and collect the compensation. Now, once upon a time, in an improvised cottage on a rather remote gravel beach, near a rather remote village, lived Anne. There’s not much to say about Anne: she’s rude, cruel, persuasive, headstrong, severe and she will go to extremes to make a fortune and to live as cheap as possible. Just look at how she puts little pixies in pots and use them to light her home at night, so she doesn’t have to buy herself candles. Long story short, with the help of fairy tale-style Facebook, namely, her crystal ball, Anne browsed for the most promising knights, rogues, wizards and fairy tale-figures around and decided to invite them to apply for her Fairy Tale Company – and strangely, they did. Little did Anne know, that her party consisted of some of the most dim-witted misfits and failures around. And so, a tale of irony and sarcasm starts, as the party gathers at Anne’s house to set out for their first ,,Happily ever after…â€
---------------------------------
RPGrs apply for the role of Anne's employees. These characters don't have to be serious - as described above, a pary of misfits will certainly make the story a lot more interesting. Think of ambitious young knight who've never even touched swords, wizards that don't come further than getting rabbits out of hats and more creative than that: children, midgets or one of the seven goats - use your imagination.
