Zé kinda wants to go inside. Maybe there's something waiting for her, to help her with her arm. But then again, if there is in fact something that can help her, she trusts the rest of the group to bring it with them outside. Sam wants to wait outside and he practically invites her to stay with him. It's his words that get her to actually do the smartest thing. 'Alright, I'll wait outside,' she sighs.

It's a good thing the others are going in, though. If nobody wanted to go, who knows what they were leaving behind. This way, they would know what is in there and Zé doesn't even have to do one single thing. Except waiting outside with Sam. But that's not so hard to do, right?

Dahsi isn't sure what she thinks about the new cave. She's taking in her surroundings with interest and wonders what could lie ahead. Soon it's decided that some stay and some go in. Beck wants to know what her position is on the matter so she smiles at him. "I think that it is important to either split up the group evenly or make a decision involving all of us. The more people, the stronger the group. If you, Ivy, Reese and Isaac want to go in, then the rest of us should stay," she voices her thoughts out loud. "Also, I think one group should keep the map and the others should take the radio. Since I have the map and Reese has the radio, that's an easy choice to make. You never know if we'll see each other after the cave is entered."

She sits down with her face in her hands, staring at the rest of the group. She just hoped there wasn't anything dangerous in the cave.

A slight smile appears on Sam's face when Zé agrees on staying. He hadn't expected her to actually agree, especially not this quickly. Beck asks Dahsi how she thinks about it and she replies by saying they should either split evenly or go all. Sam frowns as she starts about the radio and the map. She was talking as if they wouldn't see each other for a while.

Then, an idea pops up in Sam's head. He quickly goes through his bag and takes out the walky talkies. "Guys, you should take one of these with you, in case something happens or if you just need to contact us for help on solving a problem or anything. The voice didn't mention them, so I assume this isn't the right task to use them, but I think we can use them if we don't ruin or lose them." He carefully hands one to Beck. He had been doubting between him and Isaac, who seemed really neat and careful, but with the lions the man had gone slaying like a mad man, so he supposed Beck had some more common sense. Reese already had the radio and Ivy was just.. Ivy.

Sam would rather not go, and encourages Zé to do the same. Reese is fine with that; she still doesn't like Zé, so. Beck does decide to come along, though, which Reese is less happy about - there is something about him that gets on her nerves. Maybe it's his preoccupation with his hair or how he speaks in almost a manner of entitlement sometimes, but she doesn't like him and she doesn't trust him.

Nothing she can do about it, though. Instead she takes another appraising look at the cave and hopes that it's not like Sam suggests, that there might not be much space in there. Reese is not fond of dark, cramped spaces. Meanwhile, Dahsi comes up with a plan to split up the group. Reese is not sure if it's a good idea to split up the group already - then again, if this cave is anything like the one Gabriel had to enter, they should be back quickly.

"Sounds good to me," Reese replies to Dahsi's plan. She nods when Sam volunteers one of his walky talkies. It makes her feel a little better about splitting up the group, even though Sam gives the walky talky to... Beck. Reese is not comfortable with the fact that their only means of communication with the other half of the group is in Beck's hands. "Good plan, Sam, thanks," Reese says, despite her reservations.

"Well, shall we get this over with then?" She puts her hands in her pockets. "We'll see you soon," she says to the part of the group that will be left behind. "Hopefully," she adds with a wry grin.

Reese then starts walking, making sure she sticks close to Ivy once they enter the cave. The cave seems to go on for quite a while, but at least there's light and plenty of space, so Reese doesn't feel anxious. "Hey," she softly says to Ivy while they're walking. "If everyone hates us anyway, we might as well be allies. What do you think?"

Reese does not like the whole 'pretend as if you don't know each other' game, but it's necessary. Reese is sure that even now, the organization is watching them. Anyway, it's time to get the ball rolling on the whole cooperation thing.

By now, they've reached the end of what apparently was a tunnel. Once they exit it, it immediately closes behind them with a grating sound. Before them? There is a whole lot of snow. "Well, I guess it's sweater weather," Reese says cheerfully, already reaching into her backpack. She's definitely a winter person. While she gets her sweater out of her backpack and puts it on, she tries to ignore the whole 'being trapped and cut off from the rest of the group' thing and instead waits for instructions from the voice.

Beck nods as he listens to what Dahsi has to say. Beck isn't particulary keen on going in that cave with Ivy - or Reese for that matter. But Dahsi made sense to him, and Isaac was pretty cool. Sam comes up with another of his good ideas as wel, providing each group with a walky talkie. Beck takes it as Sam hands it over to him. He was content with the role of contacting and answering the other group, since it provided him with a strategical asset. It was useful, especially regarding Ivy, to be in charge of something important, as he could use that role to influence the actions of his own four-men-cell and the actions of the other half of the group.

,,Thanks,'' Beck mumbled, behaving a bit uninterestingly - even though he really started to appreciate Sam and the behaviour he displayed. He smiled a bit child-like and then plainly stated: ,,See you in a bit.''

Beck follows Reese as she enters the cave. Immediately after the group is split in two, the cave 'closes'. ,,Wel, I guess that was to be expected,'' Beck quietely speaks to himself. A flaw smile decorates his face. ,,Here we go...''

Reese walks next to Ivy and they appear to converse. Beck frowns, but decides to ignore it. It seemed Ivy and Reese got along quite well - since they had supported each other on various occassions already. Beck didn't really know what to think of that - a potential alliance between Reese and Ivy couldn't be very dangerous on a grouplevel, but when it was the two of them, Isaac and himself, they could prove themselves to be a threat. Beck would have to monitor them.

At the end of the tunnel, the four of them find a true blue winter wonderland. Beck startled a bit when the cave - again - closes behind them. Here they are, standing in the snow. Beck looks at Reese in jealousy as she pulls on a sweater. Beck didn't have one, since he didn't like carrying around bags and he wasn't expecting any snow to ruin his day. Trying to hide his envy and trying to protect himself a bit from this new environment, Beck put up the collar of his blouse and pulls the hood of his jacket over his head. ,,Well Voicey, what's the meaning of this?'' Beck asks with a grin.

Again pretty boy is addressing the voice. "Oh you've walked to the other side of the red zone. You're at number fourthy-eight." the Voice announces. He seems pretty smug about it too. "The only way back is to follow the course of the Labyrinth. Sure hope you can do those challenges on your own..." he muses "Well, pick a number and continue on your journey!"

Meanwhile on the other side, at the other group, another voice starts speaking somewhere from the bushes. This time it's an Australian lady. "Ello lot! Seein' as you lost my mate, I've been send in."

Alright then - they're splitting up. Ivy, Reese, Beck and Isaac are going into the cave, while the rest stays where they are. Ivy is not particularly happy with being on Beck's team, but at least she's got Reese. And that's a hell of an asset to have. Sam hands the walkie-talkie over to Beck, which makes Ivy feel uneasy. Sure, just give their only means of communication to that jerk. Why the hell not. She glares at Sam, but composes her face into one of neutrality soon enough. They enter the cave, and the entrance sort of falls together, thereby preventing them from going back. It was to be expected, but it doesn't make her any happier. What if they need to go back? There's no way but forward now.

As they walk through what looks like a tunnel, Reese comes to walk beside Ivy. She smiles after hearing what Reese has to say. It's strangely amusing to have everyone believe that she and Reese don't know each other. "Sure," she reacts, her eyes flickering.

They reach the end of the tunnel quickly, after which the whole damn thing collapses behind them. Isn't that beautiful. And sh*t, it's cold here. Ivy notices the snow, and can't help but groan a little. She's more of a summer-person; never liked snow much. She zips her jacket all the way up, and watches Reese pull on a sweater. Typical Reese, she thinks. Always prepared.

The voice then tells them to pick another number, and Ivy feels like grabbing the radio and shove it into the snow. "We don't have the map," she says stiffly. "So if we want to know where we are... If we want to do anything that requires the map, we'll need to ask the others to look for us." Dependence, woo-hoo.

Gabriel listens to what is said by the others, and it seems that Reese, Isaac, Ivy and Beck are entering the cave and the other half are staying, though Zé probably rather wanted to enter the cave according to the tone in her voice and the sighing. But Dahsi’s plan seems like a good plan and if he would decide now to enter the cave, then there will be no balance anymore.

So Gabriel also has decided to stay, but he can’t help to be a little curious for what the other half will find in those caves, maybe this will even be the last time that they see them or maybe this was the moment where he should give someone that card with a free death pass.

When a different voice, a female with an Australian accent suddenly starts to speak Gabriel looks around to find out where it is coming from. 'Where did that voice come from' he asks more to himself then to the others. Did someone place another radio here nearby, well maybe the once that are staying are also have to perform a different kind of task or the other voice was send in to keep them amused at some point or to keep them updated on what the others in the cave will have to do.

Beck asks the voice for an explanation and the voice tels them that they are now at number 48. If Reese recalls correctly, that is somewhere near the bottom of the map. Most of her cheer due to the snow melts away, but she tells herself to stay positive. (Even though that is difficult, what with the whole threatening 'hope you can do those challenges on your own'.)

Ivy mentions that they'll need to ask the others for directions. That means that they'll be dependent on the rest of the group. Even worse, that means they'll be dependent on Beck, because they can't get the directions without him communicating properly with Dahsi. Great. Just great, Reese thinks.

"Well, I suggest you get out that walky talkie and ask Dahsi what the route back to the others with the least tasks is, then," Reese says to Beck. And hope that Dahsi won't lie, she adds in her mind; intentionally leading the four of them astray could be profitable for the others. Just lead us into a dead end with a whole cluster of tasks and we're not a threat anymore, Reese thinks with a sinking feeling in her stomach.

Beck's mouth falls open as he hears the voice. He soon closes it, and tries to remember the map. Number fourty eight? Where the hell was that? North? South? Beck remembered the Red zone covering half of the map, from it's lowest point to it's highest point, which Beck interpretated as North and South. How far did they have to go to get back?

,,Hate to admit it, but you're right,'' Beck tells Ivy, as he proceeds to look at Reese, discontently. ,,I'll gues I'll do that then.''

The walkie-talkie immediately proves it's utility. Beck brings it to his mouth and starts talking, hoping Sam would answer on the other side. ,,Yo, Sammie? 'you there? How are you guys? We're alright here, except we kinda have a situation here: walking all the way through some tunnel ended us up at number fourty-eight.'' Beck sighs. ,,Could you, for starters, tell us where the hell that is on the map?''

Beck changes the mode of his walkie-talkie so he could listen to what Sam had to say. He glances at Isaac, Reese and Ivy. ,,You know, this sucks.'' Beck started to fear the result of mutual dislike between him and Ivy & Reese. if they were to team up here, Beck could be done for.

Sam isn't sure how he should feel when half of their group disappears into the cave and the entrance closes behind them. He has a really bad feeling about splitting up, but it was just a cave. Honestly, was there even a chance they would kill half of the group at once? He can't help but to feel guilty for staying behind, but he feels a bit better about keeping others with him. At least they were safe. For now.

He is startled when a voice starts talking. It's a woman's voice, with an Australian accent. Obviously no one of their group, then. Gabriel asks where it came from and Sam stares at the bushes. "There's someone in the bushes.." He mumbles, slightly out of breath. He carefully approaches the bushes and parts them slightly to search for the source of the voice. He blinks as he finds the radio. "Guys, it seems they put another radio here."

He picks the thing up and puts it down on the floor, where the others are standing. "Well, at least we have someone to guide us too." He isn't sure if that's a good thing, and he hopes this woman isn't as annoying as the male voice person.

He almost gets a heart-attack, when he hears Beck's voice calling his name. Then he remembers the walky-talkie, at which he stares a bit dumbly, while Beck is talking. Number fourty-eight? He looks at Dahsi. "Fourty-eight? Wasn't that somewhere at the bottom?" He examines the walky-talkie and then brings it to his mouth, feeling slightly awkward. He presses the button. "Er, yes. Hi. Beck? I'm glad you guys are fine and.. alive and such." He kind of wants to slap himself at this point. "Er.. So.. Yeah, we're gonna check the map now. Do we have to meet each other somewhere in the middle or something?" He frowns and blushes slightly, extremely glad at least the people on the other side can't see him. "Er.. Over?" He adds.

He releases the button and walks over to Dahsi, so they can look at the map.

Dahsi isn't completely surprised when the gate closes. There was always some sort of catch. She awaits patiently to see if they have to complete some sort of challenge to get back out. She curses herself for not drawing another map and giving it to the other group if they won't be returning, because it's taking a lot longer than she expected. An australian accented voice speaks from the bushes and Dahsi frowns. Sam explains it's another radio. "Er... nice to meet you?" is her reaction.

She's then distracted by Beck's voice coming from the walky-talky. As if burned, she immediately comes into action and grabs her loyal map. "Yes, it's at the bottom, a dead end. The quickest way back is to go past 57, 29 and 28," she explains, pointing at different numbers. "Either we go to them, meet half way or they come to us. We haven't finished this section yet and there's still six challenges left so we'd better meet them at number 29. We can do that challenge together and go back up to this section to finish it."

Dahsi is completely convinced that it's the best way to ensure the safety of everyone and to remain thorough. This way both groups would only have to do one challenge by themselves and the third together. Plus they'd be able to see what the pink line meant!

Sam frowns as he stares at the map. He realizes only now that the upper part is closed from the rest of the labyrinth. At least, the part they are walking now. "The most logical order for us would be five, ten, eleven, twenty-three, twenty-two, twenty-five. Then we have to walk the entire way back towards nine and two, so we can continue towards twenty-seven." He mumbles thoughtfully, while following the path and numbers with his finger.

He turns to the walky-talky again. "Beck? You guys are all the way South, at the middle bottom of the labyrinth. There are about twelve or thirteen numbers in your area and on your way back to us. I think you have to decide if you want to see all of them or just do the numbers you pass on the shortest way back to the rest of the group, so we can go back later to finish those tasks, if necessary. That way you only have about three numbers to go. We just need to find the key to the next area, so.."

Reese can't help but smile a bit when Beck grudgingly admits that Ivy is right. He starts talking into the walky talkie, and then adds a 'this sucks'. Reese is tempted to say something snarky, but instead just says: "Yeah, pretty much." She really doesn't like their current situation. Though at least they haven't walked into a fiery death or anything, that would also have been a possibility.

After Sam awkwardly replies to Beck, there is a short silence. The rest of the group is probably - hopefully - figuring out a route. Then Sam starts talking again. They'll need to choose whether they want to do all the tasks in the area or just pick the shortest way. Reese already knows which one she'd pick.

"I think that picking the shortest route would be best. Reuniting the group should be our focus for now, we can always come back here later if we can't find the key to the next area - assuming that those pink lines are gates or whatever, at least." Reese frowns. "Besides, we don't know what all those tasks are; they might be insurmountable if we're with a smaller group. It's safer to reunite with the others first." Three tasks should be doable, but they're going to have bad luck sooner or later, and Reese would rather be with the rest of the group when that happens.

Sam is being awkward, talking to them through the walkie-talkie, but he basically tells them that they can either go through the nearby tasks on their own, or they can take the shortest route to the other part of the group. Frankly, Ivy doesn't really feel the need to reunite with the rest so quickly. It may be more dangerous, but she's pretty sure that her team would out-survive the other team. That way, only two rivals would remain, and with Reese's help, they could actually win. She's not here to make friends, or to go team-building with a bunch of psychotic (seriously though, no one in their right minds would enter this labyrinth) strangers.

But Reese seems to think otherwise, and Ivy doesn't think arguing would get them anywhere. She sights noticeably and grunts: "Alright then."

Still no idea where they're supposed to go, of course. Sam would have to tell them exactly where to turn and where to walk. The idea of having to rely on Sam and Beck makes Ivy's insides wrench together. Sam could blatantly lie to them. He acted to be the nicest damn person in the world, but it could be just that: an act. He could lead them astray. And then there's Beck, whose foul personality would probably make him do something stupid.
