Beck proposes a plan, but Ivy isn't convinced. For starters, the rope would need to be tightly knotted in order for any of this to work. And secondly, the whole damn thing would probably snap under the weight of an actual human being. But it's a plan, and it sounds better than just taking a stroll in the middle of those snakes.
"The chances of it working are slim," she tells Beck honestly.
"But since no one can produce wings out of their asses, I guess we ought to give it a go." She's just about to ask how long the rope is, when Isaac opens his hole and starts yapping about who's supposed to go first, and
of course he singles Ivy out. After hearing what he has to say, she scoffs.
"Yeah, I don't mind if you all think I'm a coward," she says simply.
"You guys go ahead. I'll stay and cheer you on." Yeah, Beck could go first to secure the rope on the other side, and Isaac could test the strength of the rope by being the first to climb over it. If the rope could handle Isaac, it would definitely hold Reese and Ivy, whose safety would be guaranteed.
"So let's get crackin'!" Ivy semi-enthusiastically claps her hands together and looks at Beck and Isaac.
"Which one of you fine heroes wants to go first? Be the one to defeat the snakes? Prove your courage for once and for all?"
