Beck nods as Isaac compliments him on his idea; and in her own typical way Ivy seems to approve of his plan too. Beck can't help but to feel a little bit proud of himself. However, as Isaac had confirmed, the only problem of the plan lay in the fact that someone had to get down in that hole - and that wasn't something you'd happily do, especially since the people who were here with Beck weren't the ones he respected the most among the group, leaving out Isaac of course. He was cool.

,,How do we even know these guys are poisonous?'' Beck mutters lost in thought, as he hears Isaac comparing Ivy to the little monsters. Well, anyway, it was his plan. He'd implement it himself then.

,,We know you aren't a coward Ivy. You're a bitch, that's why you aren't going first,'' Beck friendly smiled at her. ,,You already told me, right? There's nothing you can do about it,'' Beck looks down at the snakes. ,,Isaac got one lion down all by himself, covering up for Sammy and myself, so it wouldn't be fair for me to let him do this. And well, Reese -'' Beck gives her an apologizing smile ,,- I don't really see you doing this.'' Beck knew he might be underestimating her on that part.

,,So that leaves only one option...'' Beck liked the thrill of going down there alone, but he know it was rather insane as well. ,,You mind giving me one end of that rope?'' Beck asked in a not-boyish tone, looking at Isaac with a polite smile.

Sam is quite annoyed by the sudden silence coming from the walkie-talkie, so he keeps on glaring at it, while they make their way around the mountain and towards number 28. He just follows Dahsi, who has the map and seems to have no issues at finding the right way at all.

When they reach the number, Dahsi volunteers to go stand on the square. Sam feels bad about this. She just looks like an easy target right now. He whimpers softly and fights the urge to hysterically ask Beck for help through the walkie-talkie, when the platform starts to move upwards. The female voice starts to talk again, telling them Dahsi's life is in their hands. Sam has to try hard not to hyperventilate. How much did they have to go through in just one day?

The riddle is just stupid. Sam has no idea how to solve it. Zé comes with a suggestion and Sam is thankful for her mind. Gabriel replies on it, but he's already starting to try to figure out the story. "I think we should ask questions before breaking our minds over the answer." He offers. He takes a deep breath and tries to calm down. Worrying about five people wasn't going to help him think clearly. "Alright, let's just.. use Ze's question first. We didn't need much time to solve the anagram thing, so maybe we're good at puzzles like this. Twenty-five questions should be enough."

He glares at the radio, before he realizes the person isn't actually in it, so instead he focuses on Dahsi again. "Alright, so our first question: What led him to taking off his clothes?"

The voice doesn't give any useful information. It's just a pit of snakes, apparently. Though Reese is pleasantly surprised that the voice spares them the details about how poisonous/evil/whatever the snakes are. He seems sadistic enough that he would've delighted in telling them all the gory, horrible details.

The task in of itself is already sadistic enough, however. Getting through a pit of possibly poisonous snakes is not exactly a walk in the park. Luckily, Beck comes up with a plan. At least that means only one person would have to actually get through the pit, which is better than all of them. Well, as long as I don't get picked, fine by me, Reese thinks, although she isn't entirely happy with the solution.

Isaac suggests that Ivy goes down into the pit. Reese briefly rolls her eyes when he says that Ivy is as poisonous as those snakes - if you want to insult someone, at least do it in a clever way, come on - but keeps silent when Isaac asks for volunteers. Reese doesn't pretend that she's brave.

Beck insults Ivy some more (as if Beck's got any right to talk, he can be quite bitchy himself) and at the same time mentions that Isaac should get a free pass. Reese thinks that's bullsh*t. Yes, Isaac took down a lion, but he's done f*ck all since, yet everyone keeps saying that Isaac is so wonderful and selfless. Reese isn't buying it.

"You've got that right," Reese answers when Beck adds that he can't see her doing this. Then Beck volunteers to go himself. Well, if he wants to act all heroic (that is, stupid) that's his choice and Reese certainly isn't going to stop him. There should be a better solution though... if only Reese could find it.

And then she realizes that the tops of the trees are bare. Meaning that they could throw a rope over one of the trees without the rope getting stuck. "If anyone's got good aim, we could try making a lasso and throwing the rope over the trees? Then no one would have to go through the pit," Reese says. Then adds, with a shrug: "It's worth a try before you immediately go throw yourself into danger, at least."

"That's right," she says to Beck's remark about her bitchiness. The annoying thing about him was that he was such a jerk, and yet paraded around under the impression that he was a saint. A stupid saint at that, because he just made the decision to jump into the pit and hug the snakes. Ivy visibly rolls her eyes when he glorifies Isaac. Right. The lions. Everyone fought the lions. The blonde haired moron hadn't done anything useful ever since, and it didn't look like he was planning on being useful anytime soon.

Anyways, Ivy doesn't feel bad for him. Let Beck lower himself into the Pit of Death. Whatever. But Reese comes up with a better idea and Ivy thinks it's pretty darn clever. "Ah, too bad," she says, a snide smile lingering on her lips. "I would've liked seeing Becky here fight with snakes."

The group discusses for a short while and eventually decides on the first question. The voice approves, seeing as it is a pretty good question.

"The reason he took his clothes off is because the air balloon was too heavy." she replies.

Of course Ivy reacts to Isaac's comment, just what he expected.
And then Beck reacts. " Yeah a bitch, but a funny one" Isaac's mutters, when Becks starts talking about Ivy and her bitchyness.
When he starts talking about the lion-thing again, Isaac smiles. He did do that , and he did break Zé's arm, well it seemed to him the rest could do something useful as well.

Beck wants to volunteer. Isaac wanted another one to go down, not really Beck. He was kind off growing fond of this boy. But after all it was still a game , a game which only could know one winner. Isaac takes the rope and wants to give it to Beck, when Reese suddenly has an idea.

Isaac looks up to the trees, yeah she was right, and it was clever seen. Why didn't he see it ? Well it didn't matter that much but it still annoyed Isaac that Reese saw it and came with the idea and not him.

Ivy says she would've liked Beck fight with the snakes. Isaac grins, yeah that could've been fun to see.

"Well guys, Who can make a good lasso ? I want to try to throw it, but making it is another thing.". Isaac never had to do something like that at home, so he had no clue how to make a lasso.

Sam frowns at the answer he recieves from the radio. Where the hell did that air balloon come from? A confused sigh escapes his lips and he brings his hand to the back of his neck, softly massaging the skin and muscles in an attempt to think more clearly. "Alright, so he had an air balloon. This story is getting pretty long, then." He shifts a bit on his spot, while staring at the ground, lost in thought.

After a while, he looks up again. He looks at Zé and Gabriel and shrugs. "I hope you guys don't mind, but.." He turns to the radio, feeling a bit weird talking to an inanimate object. "I want to ask.. Where did he get the straw?" He really hopes the answer will be useful, so he hasn't wasted a question. Especially without talking it over with the other two.

It takes a while before the next question is asked.

"He picked it from the two straws being held."

Gabriel listens to both answers given by the radio, the second answer to Sam question he found somewhat vague. Because does it mean the man wasn't alone, because who or what was helding the straws then. Hmm, maybe that should be their following question, but is it really good enough. He looks from Sam and Zé, to the radio and then back to Sam and Zé. 'I don't know if this is a good question but maybe we should ask the radio who held the straws' he suggests to the both of them.

Alright, so apparently, yes/no questions are not required. Nice, then this should be easy. He took his clothes off because the air balloon was too heavy. He picked one of two straws being held. 'Okay, let's assume he wasn't alone then,' Zé says, but Gabriel wants to ask for sure. Only two straws, which means they were two. In an air balloon. 'But go ahead, aks the question, we have plenty.' Seriously, if they were allowed to ask 25 questions, this should be very very easy.

'Let's see what we have already,' Zé then says, 'he was in an air balloon and he took his clothes off because the air balloon was getting to heavy. Ergo, the air balloon was dropping and they needed to get rid of some weight.' She's really just thinking aloud, but this way, the others would be able to follow what she was thinking. 'He picked one out of two straws, which means, I think, they were two. The straw also means he had to do or don't do something because he picked the wrong or right straw. But why isn't he in the air balloon anymore? And what did he have to do or don't do because of the straw he picked?' She then looks at the other two. 'Good questions, or not?'

Sam is totally confused. Luckily he has Gabriel and Zé to help him, because the simple fact the guy wasn't alone hadn't occurred to him yet, even though it was pretty obvious. While Zé is going through the options, he's thinking really hard. Then he blinks. "Zé.. What if they had to pick straws over who had to leave the air balloon? I mean, the guy is alone, or not? So he took off his clothes, because the weight was too heavy for the air balloon, but that didn't help and they got stuck on a mountain and they picked straws for who had to stay on the ground? Does that sound insane?"

He massages his forehead, because his head is starting to hurt from the thinking and the lack of food. Now he wished he had taken a damn sandwich. His eyes go to Dahsi, who is still high above them. "Okay.. What were the rules for the straw-picking?"

The group kind of stands and stares at the rope after Isaac suggested someone tie it into a lasso. Ivy is not a particularly good knot maker, but hey, it's not like her life is at stake. So she shrugs and takes the rope. She tries to focus on making an adequate lasso-esque thing, but her eyes keep flitting to the pit with the snakes and she can't help but wonder if they're poisonous. Probably. Maybe not? Probably.

After a couple of silent minutes, Ivy holds the rope up for everyone to see. "It'll do the trick," she says in general. She tosses the rope to Isaac who had earlier suggested to throw the thing. Typical Isaac ='] Volunteer to do the easiest part.

"Hey Becky," Ivy says rather suddenly. "Maybe you should use that fancy walky talky of yours to inform the other group of our situation. I'm sure Blondie would be thrilled to know. Also, it might be a good idea to periodically ask them if they're still alive. For all we know, they died a gruesome death, and we're the only ones left." She proceeds to bury her hands in the pockets of her jeans, and serenely stare at Beck.

"The rule is very simple. The one who picks the shortest straw has to jump overboard," is her answer to Sam's question. The cage in which Dahsi hangs is raised slightly higher, as to warn the others. A gasp from Dahsi's mouth can be heard vaguely. "Tic toc, you don't want you little mate to fall down now do you?"

"Are you people so simple minded that it takes you a million years to get to the next challenge? I don't have all day you know!" the voice complains.

Beck is slightly relieved at hearing Reese having a somewhat better plan than his own, and he can't help but to blush as she points out to them that they could just try to throw the rope around the trees on the other side. That was, indeed, a much better and safer idea. ,,Good point,'' Beck mumbles in reaction to the plan.

Ivy actually makes Beck chuckle a little as she'd share with them that she'd love to see him going down that pit. Beck notices that Isaac grins to, although Becky started wondering wether Ivy was serious or not. Isaac then proceeds to explain he'd like to throw the rope, but that he can't make a good lasso, and Ivy offers to give him a hand. She then suggests that Beck informed about the others. Beck grins. ,,Sure,'' he replies. ,,I didn't know you cared about them so much...''

Beck switches on the walky talky. ,,Yo Sammy, it's Becky here,'' Beck glances at Ivy and gives her a cynical smile. ,,Y'all still standing on two legs there? We are about to cross a pit of snakes... so, Ivy thought it was a good idea to tell you about that, in case of,'' Beck stops talking for a moment and gives everyone in his group a look. ,,Over - I guess...''

Isaac is surprised that Ivy wants to make the lasso. Ivy kept surprising Isaac, and that annoyed him. He couldn’t get any height of this girl.

Isaac takes the rope back and Beck starts talking to the other group. As a person with feelings Isaac hoped they were alright. Unfortunately for the rest of the group Isaac likes to put his feelings aside. If they were wounded , or deadly hurt or even worse. Well that would make it easier to win this thing. He was after all (in his eyes) the strongest, and the smartest and the prettiest ,…. Summarized, Isaac had one of this moments, were people think they are everything( and Isaac has such moments quiet often.). So winning couldn't be that difficult if the others were out of the game.

He starts to swing the rope above his head, like a cowboy or so. Then he throws it. The end of the rope falls in the pit. Slowly he tries again, to fail again. He keeps trying ,he was not likely to give up. Once he got around the tree, but that branch broke. Isaac silently curses and he feels his face redden.

Finally after what seemed hours of throwing, the ropes is in the tree.
Isaac turns to the rest " Well apparently that was more difficult then I thought, but nevertheless I did it he announces semi-proud, as if it didn’t take that long. "Who's going first ? ".
